You’ve seen it in the headlines, from North Korea's nuclear testing to Russian interference in the U.S. election. No matter the story, one thing is clear: the need to protect U.S. interests at home and abroad is of ever-growing importance.

National security challenges exist in every industry, from business and trade, to transportation and healthcare. No matter your major or professional interest, knowledge of the issues impacting U.S. national security will be a valuable asset as you enter the workforce.

What topics will be covered?

This program will focus on current issues surrounding the protection of U.S. interests at home, abroad and in cyberspace. You’ll engage with leaders in the field and gain access to organizations throughout D.C. with national security connections.

What will you take away from the seminar?

Through this experience, you’ll gain an insider’s view of the U.S. national security landscape, enhance your professional networks and explore potential career paths. You may also be able to earn academic credit at your institution for your participation (although this is not required).
